The Spring Farm Machinery Show once again confirmed its position as a leading regional agri-machinery event, attracting large crowds of exhibitors, farmers, contractors, and machinery enthusiasts to County Cavan this week. The two-day indoor exhibition took place on Wednesday, February 4, and Thursday, February 5, at the Cavan Equestrian Centre.
The annual event continues to serve as an important meeting point for the agricultural machinery sector, bringing together long-established exhibitors alongside new market entrants. Companies used the platform to showcase the latest developments in farm machinery, animal housing and health solutions, agri-tech innovations, and a wide range of agri-related services.
More than 90 companies exhibited at this year’s show, presenting an extensive selection of equipment ranging from lawn mowers and fencing systems to forage harvesters, tree shears, robotic milking machines, and high-capacity agricultural machinery. Suppliers also displayed the latest tractor models and machinery brands from global manufacturers, highlighting new technologies aimed at improving efficiency and productivity on farms.
The 2026 edition of the show marked its largest format to date, reaching full exhibition capacity and featuring a higher number of machinery brands and product launches than in previous years. The strong exhibitor participation reflected sustained demand for modern equipment solutions as farmers and contractors prepare for the upcoming agricultural season.
Organised by the AJS Group, the Spring Farm Machinery Show plays a broader role within the regional agricultural calendar. Alongside sister events in Millstreet, County Cork, and Balmoral, County Antrim, the exhibition acts as a key industry barometer, allowing attendees to assess emerging trends, evaluate new technologies, and make informed investment decisions for the year ahead.
