Alves Kablo Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. has announced that it has signed a sales contract covering the supply of 1,200 tonnes of 8 mm copper wire rod for delivery throughout 2026. The agreement was concluded with a domestically based energy cable manufacturer.
According to the company’s statement, the contract is based on a reference copper price of USD 13,350 per tonne, excluding VAT, and an exchange rate of USD/TRY 43.05. Based on these reference values, the total contract size is estimated at approximately TRY 689.7 million plus VAT, corresponding to around USD 16.02 million plus VAT at the base exchange rate.
Alves Kablo noted that the agreement is expected to make a positive contribution to its operational activities and turnover. The start date of the business relationship under the contract is planned for January 7, 2026.
The company emphasized that the deal strengthens its position in the domestic copper wire rod market while supporting long-term supply relationships with energy cable manufacturers.
