Liebherr will present its latest earthmoving and material handling technologies at the ReMA 2026 Convention and Exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada, taking place from April 13 to 16, 2026. At booth A6, the company will display the LH 60 M Industry Electric material handler and the L 550 XPower wheel loader, showcasing equipment tailored for recycling and scrap processing operations. Liebherr specialists will be on-site to demonstrate the machines and provide technical guidance to attendees.
ReMA is one of the largest global gatherings for recycling and scrap industry professionals, attracting over 7,000 participants to explore new technologies and connect with peers. Liebherr’s participation underscores its commitment to delivering efficient and reliable solutions for industrial material handling.
The LH 60 M Industry Electric material handler is designed for heavy-duty recycling and scrap facility work. Featuring Liebherr’s energy recovery system, the machine enhances performance while reducing energy consumption. With an operating weight of approximately 168,000 pounds, a reach of up to 65 feet, and multiple attachment options, it is suitable for handling scrap metal, waste, and bulk materials. Its electric operation provides lower noise levels, reduced emissions, and lower maintenance requirements compared to conventional machines, supporting sustainability goals.
The L 550 XPower wheel loader offers versatility for various material handling tasks, from scrap loading to transporting industrial materials. Powered by a 219-horsepower engine, it delivers strong breakout force and lifting capacity. Operators can select different lift arm configurations and attachments to suit specific tasks, such as moving steel, feeding shredders, or handling bulk materials efficiently.
Liebherr’s specialized scrap handling equipment is designed with operator safety and productivity in mind. Features such as piston rod protection, reinforced safety glass, and cab safety grids help protect operators and nearby workers. The machines are engineered to perform reliably in demanding environments while maintaining efficiency.
Through its participation at ReMA 2026, Liebherr aims to demonstrate how advanced equipment can enhance productivity, safety, and environmental performance in recycling and scrap operations. The company continues to develop machinery that meets the unique needs of industrial material handling, offering durable equipment backed by technical expertise worldwide.
