Schaeffler, the global Motion Technology Company, will unveil a broad range of next-generation solutions for humanoid robotics, energy generation, autonomous material handling, and software-defined vehicles at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas.

At the exhibition, Schaeffler will highlight how it is accelerating digital transformation across key industries by combining mechanical precision with artificial intelligence. The company’s portfolio focuses on intelligent motion components and systems designed to generate high-quality data for applications such as predictive maintenance, digital twins, and autonomous operations helping customers improve performance, reduce downtime, and advance sustainability goals.

“CES is the leading fair for breakthrough technologies,” said Klaus Rosenfeld, CEO of Schaeffler AG. “As a pioneer in motion technology, Schaeffler is the partner of choice when it comes to enabling innovations and shaping the industry of the future. At CES 2026, we are demonstrating how our advanced solutions are accelerating digital transformation by seamlessly combining mechanical excellence with digital intelligence.”

One of the key highlights will be the debut of Schaeffler’s planetary gear actuator developed specifically for humanoid robots. Presented for the first time, the compact, space-optimized actuator integrates a two-stage planetary gearbox, electric motor, encoder, and controller into a single unit. Its design enables smooth back-driving and high precision, supporting the wider adoption of humanoid robots in industrial and commercial environments to boost productivity and reduce physically demanding, repetitive tasks.

Addressing rising global energy demand, Schaeffler will also showcase high-performance bearing solutions designed to improve efficiency and reliability in energy generation and data centers. These engineered components support both conventional and renewable energy systems, including wind turbines and solar trackers, while also protecting critical data center equipment—such as HVAC motors—from electrical erosion, helping to maximize uptime and operational stability.

In industrial automation, Schaeffler will present autonomous material handling solutions aimed at smarter manufacturing. Among the exhibits will be a forklift demonstrator capable of operating in confined spaces where traditional equipment cannot function. By replacing hydraulic systems with precise electromechanical actuators and integrating advanced steering, traction, battery management, and predictive maintenance, Schaeffler aims to help manufacturers increase productivity, address labor shortages, and build AI-enabled, highly efficient production environments.

The company will also spotlight technologies supporting the transition to software-defined vehicles (SDVs). These include advanced Master and Zone Controller architectures, magnet-free sensors and actuators, and compact power electronics such as the SuperBox 4-in-1 solution. Together, these technologies are designed to simplify vehicle architectures, enable real-time control, reduce reliance on rare-earth materials, and support the shift toward autonomous, electrified, and software-driven vehicle platforms.

Schaeffler will showcase its latest motion technology solutions at CES 2026 from January 6–9 at booth 7301 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, where visitors can experience live demonstrations and engage directly with company experts.
