German crane and hoist manufacturer Böcker has introduced a new 2.5 tonne electric trailer crane, the AHK 36e X, designed for versatile operation on demanding construction sites. The crane features a three-section main boom topped by a hydraulically extendable three-section 11-metre luffing jib, with an optional two-metre manual extension, delivering a maximum tip height of 36 metres.
The jib can handle loads of up to 500 kg and is telescopic under load, while the electric drive winch offers a line pull of 1.5 tonnes. An optional work platform allows operation at heights of up to 32 metres. The onboard battery provides enough power for 140 lifting cycles and can be recharged from a standard 230-volt outlet.
For extended reach, an optional counterweight increases capacity at long radius, adding two metres of reach with a 250 kg load. These extra counterweight plates can be installed easily by a single operator after crane setup.
The AHK 36e X also features a redesigned chassis with improved outriggers that include auto-levelling and monitoring. This setup increases the rear working slope angle by 25 percent and provides higher ground clearance during transport. The crane’s overall design integrates electric drive technology with hydraulic functionality, ensuring maximum performance without compromising payload, reach, or operating speed.
