Belgian transport and handling company MB Groupe has added a 70-metre Ruthmann T700 HF truck-mounted platform to its fleet. The platform, mounted on an MAN chassis, features a five-section main boom, a three-section upper boom, and an articulating jib, providing a maximum outreach of 41 metres or up to 35 metres at an up & over height of 47 metres. The platform supports a maximum capacity of 600 kg.
The unit was purchased through Dutch dealer HDW Belux, which has managed the distribution of Versalift and Ruthmann products in Belgium since acquiring Time Benelux in 2016. HDW Belux provided delivery support and operator training prior to handover.
Based east of Liège in southeast Belgium, MB Groupe comprises five companies MB Transport, MB Handling, MB Logistics, MB Sheet Metal, and MB Solutions. The group operates in the energy and electricity sector as well as construction, telecommunications, events, and distribution. Its diverse fleet includes 16 All Terrain cranes, loader cranes, truck-mounted lifts, mobile self-erecting tower cranes, pick & carry cranes, spider cranes, and forklifts, with the addition of the T700 HF further enhancing its operational capabilities.
