French crane rental company Adekma has taken delivery of a 450-tonne Tadano AC 7.450-1 All Terrain crane. The seven-axle crane features a seven-section 80-metre main boom, with optional extensions up to 59 metres for a 130-metre tip height, a combined 56-metre extension with a fixed offset jib reaching 133 metres, or an 81-metre luffing jib paired with the SSL Sideways Superlift system for a similar reach. The crane accommodates a maximum counterweight of 150 tonnes.
The new unit will join Adekma’s heavy lift division and is expected to support wind turbine maintenance, industrial installation projects, and tower crane assembly and dismantling operations. The crane’s combination of compact dimensions and strong lifting performance makes it well-suited for the demanding tasks handled by the company’s specialized heavy lift team.
Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Le Mans, Adekma operates from 10 locations across France and employs around 300 staff. Its rental and transport fleet comprises approximately 500 units, including 100 mobile cranes with capacities up to 700 tonnes, as well as Valla pick & carry cranes, loader cranes, mobile self-erecting tower cranes, gantry cranes, and an array of heavy rigging and shifting equipment.
